Royal Doulton Pretty Ladies HN1-100
This was Royal Doulton's first line of figurines and was sometimes also referred to as the 'Fair Ladies'. Where possible, I have listed the name of the figurine, the model number, the designers name and the production year. Please bare in mind that these pretty ladies are some of the rarest, hard to find royal doulton ladies you will ever come across and if you are lucky enough to actually find one of these models in an auction or jumble sale somewhere, then by gosh you should bid/buy/haggle do whatever it takes to get hold of it because these extremely rare collectable royal doulton figurines do not come up very often!
The other option for finding these rare ceramic figurines is of course, auction house but many of these hard to find, royal doulton figurines will not be available at auctions because they are indeed so rare. Do not be discouraged from trying though, and if you familiarise yourself with these and the later editions, auction houses usually reveal valuable alternative models too. You can find online royal doulton auctions at the likes of eBay where auction listings are updated hourly so they could change at any time which means if you don't see a treasure straight away, try again later. But it's always best (and cheaper) to try and find them 'offline' in car boot sales or jumble sales or even chairty shops.
Please find below the list of eary 1913-1938 Royal Doulton 'Pretty Ladies' along with their associated details. Any of these would fetch a figure with many zeros at auction so keep your eyes open!

Many of these figurines have since been remade in later editions so when you are out hunting for your figurines, make sure you always check the HN number and see which 'edition' of a particular model you have. You can view which HN model numbers refer to which years (and this usually correlates directly to value) at the website listed at the bottom of this free guide.
